Future Proof Your Practice

Your Clients Get It. They Just Don't Change.

Most coaching models focus on the individual. Change doesn't happen there. It happens in the relational space between people. This 8-week programme gives executive coaches and senior practitioners the framework, the language, and the embodied practice to work where change actually occurs.

  • Reorient from individual-focused coaching to a relational framework your clients haven't encountered before
  • Gain precise language for what's happening between people, so you can name it, work with it, and shift it
  • Move clients from intellectual insight to embodied integration through new relational experiences
  • Join a cohort of 12 high-calibre practitioners and learn to apply and embody the 8 Principles of Relational Capacity

The Shift

From Individual to Relational

Every coaching model you've been trained in starts with the same assumption: change happens inside the individual. Reframe the thought. Shift the belief. Change the behaviour.

And it works. Up to a point.

Then you hit the wall. The brilliant client who understands themselves perfectly but doesn't change. The board stuck in the same patterns despite everyone "getting it." The founder pair who can finish each other's sentences but can't have a direct conversation about what's actually going wrong.

The issue isn't inside them. It's between them.

This programme reorients you from an individual lens to a relational one. You'll learn to see the space between people, to name what's happening there with precision, and to work in that space where change actually occurs. You'll leave with a framework and a language that your clients will recognise as the thing that was missing. And you'll embody it, because this isn't intellectual. It's experiential.

About Kerry-Lyn

Kerry-Lyn Stanton-Downes

Kerry-Lyn Stanton-Downes is a UKCP registered psychotherapist, TEDx speaker, and the author of Beyond Words: How to Lead People from Survival to Success (LID Publishing, May 2026).

For 25 years she has worked with leaders, co-founders, and teams across multiple countries. Her clients call her "the soul whisperer." Event organisers call her "lovingly brutal and brutally loving."

The pattern is always the same: she sees what's happening between people that everyone else is trying to name, and she names it. In plain language. Without flinching.

Her career started in PR and Marketing at a Formula One circuit in South Africa before she moved to the UK, trained as a psychotherapist, and never stopped studying. The turning point came in 2011 when she realised her clinical work and her organisational consultancy were solving the same problem: relational disconnection. That insight became the foundation of Be Relational.

Kerry-Lyn's core framework, Regulate, Relate, Reconnect, is built on the 8 Principles of Relational Capacity. Her work is grounded in neuroscience, delivered in plain English, and designed to create new relational experiences. Because that's what actually changes people. Not insight alone. Not worksheets. Experience.

Transformation

From Working With an Individual Lens
to the Relational Space

Working With an Individual Lens

  • Your brilliant clients understand themselves intellectually but don't actually change
  • Boards and founder teams stay stuck in the same conflict patterns despite everyone "getting it"
  • High-stakes negotiations break down over dynamics you can sense but can't name or address
  • You charge premium fees but sometimes feel you're missing the deeper layer your clients need
  • Your clients expect you to handle board dysfunction and founder conflict, but your training didn't give you language or a framework for what's happening between people

Working With a Relational Lens

  • You can see and name what's happening in the relational space in real time, not just retrospectively
  • You have language that changes the conversation the moment you use it, and clients recognise it immediately
  • You recognise survival states in yourself and clients within seconds, and you know how to respond because you've embodied the framework
  • At least one "stuck" client relationship has shifted because you're orienting to the relational space, not just individual cognition
  • This isn't something you "know" anymore. It's how you show up. Peers notice the shift.
The Programme

8 Sessions. A Complete Reorientation.
A New Way of Working.

Each week builds on the last. You'll watch focused video content before the live session, then come together to apply the framework to real client scenarios you bring from your own practice. By week 8, you won't just understand this work. You'll have the language, the framework, and the embodied capacity to practise it.

SESSION 1

Reorient to the Relational

  • Shift your understanding of where change actually happens: from inside the individual to the space between
  • Grasp why the brain is a relational organ and what that means for every client conversation
  • Begin the foundational reorientation from individual-focused coaching to a relational lens
SESSION 2

See the Relational Space

  • Develop the ability to notice what's happening between you and your client in real time
  • Learn to read the room at the level most practitioners miss
  • Begin finding language for what you're seeing — where the shift from sensing to naming starts
SESSION 3

Understand Survival States

  • Recognise when your clients are operating from survival, and why insight doesn't land there
  • Learn the pathway from survival to safety to success
  • Gain language for the difference between "won't" and "can't" that reframes your most difficult client conversations
SESSION 4

Master Regulate, Relate, Reconnect

  • Understand co-regulation as biology, not technique
  • Experience how your nervous system is part of the work you do with clients
  • Move from conceptual understanding to embodied practice that changes how you show up
SESSION 5

Build Relational Capacity

  • Apply and embody the 8 Principles of Relational Capacity with boards, founders, and senior teams
  • Move from understanding the principles to living them in your practice
  • Gain language your clients have never heard before — and they'll recognise it as what's been missing
SESSION 6

Create Safety for Honest Conversations

  • Build relational conditions where your clients can finally say what needs to be said
  • Develop skills in relational repair: repair (not avoidance) builds relational wealth
  • Practise the language of respectful candour in real time with your cohort
SESSION 7

Generate Lasting Change

  • Move clients from insight to integration through memory reconsolidation
  • Understand why a relational experience in the present moment is what updates the past
  • Gain language to explain the neuroscience to your clients with clarity
SESSION 8

Embody the Work

  • Integrate the framework, the language, and the embodied practice into how you work
  • Define your next steps and professional positioning as a relational practitioner
  • This is not something you learn — it's something you become
